Riverview Pollinator Garden

This garden is in Rotary Riverview Centennial Park, adjacent to the Fish Ladder and the Ganaraska River.
The garden was started in 2023 with the intention of focusing on native plants. Prairie Smoke. Pearly Everlasting, Columbine, Big Blue Stem are just a few of the native plants found in this biodiverse garden for pollinators and people to enjoy.

Tree Planting

The club has a long history of planting trees throughout
the town to improve the tree canopy. West Beach has a Red Oak and a Tulip Tree planted in 2020. Near the trail in Rapley Park you’ll find a
Bur Oak and a Ginkgo planted in 2022. In Riverside Park there is a Maple Tree dedicated to Helen Hunt, our first female president. You will also find an older planting in The Commons.

About Us

A local group for gardening enthusiasts of all ages. The club meets regularly to host talks and presentations by guest speakers on topics like plant care, pruning, and garden design. We organize social gatherings, garden outings, flower shows, and competitions where members can share their work and learn from one another.
